The Barometer of My Heart is a participatory arts project working with men to explore masculinity in contemporary society. To date artist Mark Storor has been in residence alongside Dr Leighton Seal at the Thomas Addison Unit, St.George’s Hospital, Tooting meeting men attending clinics with problems of sexual potency. Mark will also be working with males in military, corporate and religious settings over the next year.
The outcome of this process will be a site specific public performance (Summer 2014). The development of The Barometer of my Heart has been funded by a Wellcome Trust Arts Award.
